SGNA President Kris Barman, BSN RN CGRN, and SGNA member Christian Kammerman, Endo Tech, recently joined forces on a presentation at the ENCSGNA Fall Conference on November 19 in Chapel Hill, NC.
The Eastern North Carolina SGNA Chapter presented its Education Fall Conference 2016, focused around the theme: “GI Stars in the Making: A Red Carpet Performance.” Barman and Kammerman’s presentation, “A Stellar Performance – Advance ERCP,” was a part of the extensive educational lineup at the conference hosted by UNC GI Staff.
Kammerman, a member of SGNA’s Associates/Technicians Special Interest Group, and Barman’s collaboration on this presentation highlights SGNA’s efforts to strengthen member involvement and to offer opportunities for relevant professional development.
SGNA debuted Special Interest Groups earlier this year as a place for members to share resources, discuss issues and develop content on specialty topics. There are four Special Interest Groups open to SGNA members in good standing:
